IFTA was created in 1983 to establish and maintain a single fuel tax for all your CMVs, authorizing them to travel in all states.

    • Vehicle information like year make model, unit number

    • Fuel receipts showing number of gallons purchased

    • Number of miles driven in each state

  • You are required to file every quarter.

  • A sticker or decal that is required to be displayed on the CMV showing you are registered with IFTA. You can purchase them through your IFTA account for $3.00 each set.

  • If you don’t cross state lines on a regular basis then you can purchase a temporary trip permit.
